Nigeria's education system is in urgent need of reform. This newly published policy report by Rejoice Ifeoma Okoronkwo (MRes International Relations, University of Wolverhampton) proposes a Hybrid Education Model (HEM) that merges classroom learning with hands-on vocational experience.

🎯 Why this matters:

Youth unemployment in Nigeria is over 42%

Many graduates lack real-world skills

The job market demands a more practical, flexible education structure

🌍 The Hybrid Model draws inspiration from Germany, Singapore, and Rwanda, recommending 3 days of academic learning and 15 hours of weekly structured work-based training.

This is a civic contribution to national development and education reform. It is aligned with Nigeria Vision 2050, SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth).
